Greenlands first biodiversity strategy is published
The Greenlandic Government has adopted Greenlands first strategy on the area of biodiversity
Animal species across the globe are becoming extinct at a much faster rate than what is natural. Naalakkersuisut has therefore adopted Greenland's first biodiversity strategy. The strategy must set the framework for a sustainable management of the country's biodiversity and natural resources by 2030.
“Naalakkersuisut has adopted Greenland's first biodiversity strategy. It is very important for Naalakkersuisut that we set the framework for a sustainable management of our biodiversity and natural resources in this country ", says Naalakkersuisoq for Agriculture, Self-sufficiency, Energy and Environment, Kalistat Lund, in connection with the publication of "Greenland's Biodiversity Strategy 2030".
The Biodiversity Strategy can be found here (in Greenlandic and Danish).
