42 young Greenlandic talents from participated in the UNLEASH Regional Innovation Lab in Greenland
42 talents from Greenland where together with a total of 200 young participants from the Arctic and Nordic countries gathered in Nuuk, the Greenland capitol, when the very first UNLEASH Regional Innovation Lab Greenland 2022 was held from August 20th to 26th.
UNLEASH is a non-profit organization committed to gather youth around sharing ideas and developing solutions for the Sustainable Development Goals. The purpose of this regional Innovation Lab was to share ideas, create networks and develop sustainable solutions for Greenland and the Arctic-Nordic region.
42 talents from Greenland where together with a total of 200 young participants from the Arctic and Nordic countries gathered in Nuuk, the Greenland capitol, when the very first UNLEASH Regional Innovation Lab Greenland 2022 was held from August 20th to 26th.
Divided in 37 teams, the participants have created innovative solutions within three tracks: Health (SDG 3), Education (SDG 4) and Biodiversity and Climate Action (SDG 13, 14, 15).
The considerable number of Greenlandic talents have contributed to a present Greenland perspective on the challenges and many potentials represented by the Sustainable Development Goals, as well as ensured a Greenlandic anchorage and relevance of the proposed solutions.
Alongside the intense work with innovation processes, pitch development and exchange with stakeholders from both businesses, municipal and government bodies, the participants have had the chance of experiencing Greenland culture through food, music and performances.
